They obviously haven’t learned their lesson. The protests that rocked the World will return if government goes back to treating women in Iran as second class citizens:
The “morality police” will return to the streets to enforce Iran’s hijab laws, a spokesman said on Sunday.
It comes 10 months after a young woman, Mahsa Amini, died in custody following her arrest in Tehran for allegedly breaking the dress code.
Her death triggered massive national protests and the patrols were paused.
The protests have returned, albeit not on the same scale–not yet.
Like in the U.S., the morality police exists because the government fails at serving the people. Republicans in the South spend all their time with the cultural wars and Iran-style oppression because they can’t accomplish anything of substance while in office. Hate is a good form of distraction. It was used by the NAZIs and is used by the GOP. They threaten to arrest anyone who isn’t compliant with their fake Christian beliefs.
The moral world is solidarity with the freedom fighters in Iran:
