There is no dissent in the U.S. about Israel. If you are a member of Congress your views must be 100 percent pro-Israel, including supporting the Apartheid policies employed in that country, with our tax dollars. If you do challenge it you will be denounced as an anti-Semite, even if you apologize. Then you will be targeted to be removed from office. That’s the reality in American politics, has been for a long time. And the press goes along as well.

Then the leadership of the Dems puts out a pledge of allegiance to the state of Israel. You must grovel or else lose support from the powerful pro-Israel lobby.
