There is no dissent in the U.S. about Israel. If you are a member of Congress your views must be 100 percent pro-Israel, including supporting the Apartheid policies employed in that country, with our tax dollars. If you do challenge it you will be denounced as an anti-Semite, even if you apologize. Then you will be targeted to be removed from office. That’s the reality in American politics, has been for a long time. And the press goes along as well.
Jayapal was forced to apologize even though she was speaking the truth. Truth is not allowed, only towing the partyline: Israel is good, Palestinians are bad.
Then the leadership of the Dems puts out a pledge of allegiance to the state of Israel. You must grovel or else lose support from the powerful pro-Israel lobby.
The rest of the world doesn’t march in lock step, including the UN.
It doesn’t matter that Israel is on the verge of becoming a dictatorship. No criticism is allowed in the U.S press or by American politicians:
