Trump Fires Kristi Noem as DHS Head

What took so long? She’s the first to be thrown under the bus. And we thought it would be Patel or Bondi:

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is out, and will be replaced by GOP Sen. Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma, President Trump announced on Truth Social Thursday. The announcement comes amid criticism of DHS spending and as Congress has allowed the department’s funding to lapse.

That Ad campaign was known about since November 2025. So that isn’t the reason she was fired. It’s about Trump scapegoating people for things he’s approved but is getting negative media attention. It’s his MO:
