This is the news Trump wants to distract you from:
NEW: Terrible numbers for Trump and the GOP on inflation.
Enten: This is a complete and total disaster for the President… If Republicans in Congress think they can escape the wrath of the voters when it comes to inflation, I have a bit of a rude awakening for them. pic.twitter.com/j8Nc2Gcn92
We are being warned about Trumponomics. Trump is about to tank the economy as he did in 2020. Meanwhile, all he can do send is send the troops somewhere. It’s called ‘wagging-the-dog.’
BREAKING: Goldman Sachs delivers an urgent warning to the American people about Donald Trump's disastrous tariffs and predicts that the economy is about to get substantially worse.
These numbers are truly stunning. Trump's so-called "Golden Age" is about to get a whole lot… pic.twitter.com/QMbJdnY6cn
President Donald Trump has reportedly been frantically calling aides and allies seeking a “big thing” to distract from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, and he’s purportedly considering a major geopolitical move to turn the page politically.
He also wants to distract you from the MAGA-inspired terrorists who kill cops and innocent people. This guy, btw, is probably not an ‘illegal.’ No comment yet from the commander-in-thief.:
Big balls gets beat up and Trump sends the guard into DC…. this dude allegedly shoots up the CDC, killing a police officer and absolutely crickets from this administration. https://t.co/ceMVdjavSG
He wants you stop hearing about Jeffrey Epstein. He doesn’t want to answer any more questions about the Epstein files:
NEW: A comprehensive CNN review of Trump’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein—backed by records, photos, videos, interviews & messages—shows a long, close relationship until at least the mid-2000s. Epstein and multiple associates called them “best friends,” with Epstein saying Trump was his… pic.twitter.com/eydHERORkO
Of course they won’t blame Trump for this ignominious achievement. A Large percentage of that total belongs to the Donnie-boy.
The U.S. national debt surpassed $37 trillion on Friday for the first time in the nation's history, less than eight months after it reached the $36 trillion mark. pic.twitter.com/wkmMTeaoVU
Even MAGA politicians are forced to admit the truth. Trump wants you to not hear this:
Marjorie Taylor Greene on the Trump economy: “People can’t afford health insurance. They can’t afford car insurance. They can’t afford rent. They can’t afford to buy a house.” pic.twitter.com/ZbpkP6z5Ie
It can no longer be denied. The Republican Party is the enemy of American democracy. And they seek to take power by illegal means or by force. They already tried once on January 6th. And they are still trying.
You don’t have to believe me. Even Trump’s former employees thinks the same:
In an interview with MSNBC’s Jason Johnson, a former Department of Homeland Security official who served under former president Donald Trump claims that he believes the Republican Party has become a threat to the security of the country and warned what could happen if they reclaim the House and the Senate in the 2022 midterms.
According to Miles Taylor — a Republican who served as chief of staff at the DHS until 2019 before leaving in disgust — should the GOP take over the House, current House minority leader Kevin McCarthy will likely be Donald Trump’s puppet if he is handed the gavel by his party.
“The number one national security threat I’ve ever seen in my life to this country’s democracy is the party that I’m in, the Republican Party,” Taylor warned. “If my party retakes the House of Representatives in the next cycle, it’s going to become a haunted house. And the ghoul and the specter haunting that house is going to be Donald Trump.”
It was Trump’s hand-picked FBI director who is warning us of threat from the right. He doesn’t mentioned the Republicans. But he might as well have:
FBI Director Christopher Wray bluntly labeled the January riot at the U.S. Capitol as “domestic terrorism” Tuesday and warned of a rapidly growing threat of homegrown violent extremism that law enforcement is scrambling to confront through thousands of investigations.
Wray also defended to lawmakers his own agency’s handling of an intelligence report that warned of the prospect for violence on Jan. 6. And he firmly rejected false claims advanced by some Republicans that anti-Trump groups had organized the deadly riot that began when a violent mob stormed the building as Congress was gathering to certify results of the presidential election.
Wray’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, his first before Congress since the insurrection, was one in a series of hearings centered on the law enforcement response to the Capitol insurrection. Lawmakers pressed him not only about possible intelligence and communication failures ahead of the riot but also about the threat of violence from white supremacists, militias and other extremists that the FBI says it is prioritizing with the same urgency as the menace of international terrorism organizations.
And some of the them are cops who will attack their own:
A Tennessee sheriff's deputy allegedly assaulted police on January 6. Now he's behind bars and off the force https://t.co/dPcAfAFTg4
These poll numbers point to why the GOP is such a threat to our republic.
Behind it all could be the Russians. We can’t ignore this possibility. The evidence is quite compelling.
The Trump campaign’s interactions with Russian intelligence services during the 2016 presidential election posed a “grave” counterintelligence threat, a Senate panel concluded Tuesday as it detailed how associates of Donald Trump had regular contact with Russians and expected to benefit from the Kremlin’s help.
The nearly 1,000-page report, the fifth and final one from the Republican-led Senate intelligence committee on the Russia investigation, details how Russia launched an aggressive effort to interfere in the election on Trump’s behalf. It says the Trump campaign chairman had regular contact with a Russian intelligence officer and that other Trump associates were eager to exploit the Kremlin’s aid, particularly by maximizing the impact of the disclosure of Democratic emails hacked by Russian intelligence officers.
