President Joe Biden is proposing a historic infusion of federal money into housing as part of his $2 trillion infrastructure package, but the plan is already running into doubts about whether it’s enough and resistance from the very people he needs to make it a reality.
This could be a very important decision. The 2nd amendment refers to a “well regulated militia.” That does not mean anyone can have a gun anywhere at any time.” The 2nd amendment was written at a time when we had no military or national police. It is no longer relevant:
A federal appeals court on Wednesday ruled that states may restrict the open carrying of guns in public, a major ruling that is certain to be appealed to a US Supreme Court hostile to limits on the Second Amendment right to bear arms.
The 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals in a 7-4 ruling upheld Hawaii’s limits on openly carrying firearms in public, rejecting a challenge from Hawaii resident George Young, who had sued the state for denying his bid to carry a handgun outside the home.
“There is no right to carry arms openly in public; nor is any such right within the scope of the Second Amendment,” Judge Jay Bybee, a nominee of George W. Bush, wrote in the majority opinion.
If this isn’t proof Donald Trump is working for Russia then I don’t know what does. Let’s not forget the liar-in-chief threatened to leave the country if he lost the election. Don’t be surprised if Trump takes up Moscow’s offer:
Russian state media—a reliable barometer of the mood at the Kremlin—remains fixated on election-related events in America. Affectionately referring to Donald Trump as “our Donald,” “Trumpusha” and “Comrade Trump,” Russian lawmakers, experts and pundits repeatedly have expressed their concerns about the future of Moscow’s all-time favorite U.S. president.
Co-host of Russian state TV news talk show 60 Minutes Olga Skabeeva brought up the possibility that President Trump would end up seeking asylum in Russia to escape any prosecutions in the United States following the conclusion of his sole presidential term. Skabeeva emphasized that this was by no means a joking matter: “It’s all very serious,” she said, as she pondered out loud about the nature of criminal charges Trump might soon be facing.
It was unacceptable for her to praise Lindsey Graham and his parties handling of the Barrett confirmation process:
California Sen. Dianne Feinstein announced on Monday that she would step down from the top Democratic spot on the Senate Judiciary Committee next year, following sharp criticism from liberal activists over her handling of the hearings for Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett.
…While Democratic senators could not block Barrett’s nomination in the Republican-led Senate on their own, liberal activists were apoplectic when Feinstein undermined Democrats’ relentless attempt to portray the process as illegitimate when she praised Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham’s leadership of it.
If it is time for Feinstein to step down. It’s also time for Speaker Pelosi and her failure to lead Democrats in the House. These two individuals have been in office for Decades. And they’ve become establishment.
