There is no greater degenerate than Donald Trump. He has been convicted of rape, and has been accused by 24 women of sexual assault.

Donald Trump regularly made lewd comments about his daughter Ivanka and fantasized about what it would be like to have sex with her, according to a former Trump administration official.

…“Aides said he talked about Ivanka Trump’s breasts, her backside, and what it might be like to have sex with her, remarks that once led [former Chief of Staff] John Kelly to remind the president that Ivanka was his daughter,” Taylor, who served as a Department of Homeland Security chief of staff under Trump, wrote in his book.

Nursing Home Execs Stole $83 Million while Residents Suffered

And apparently, neither of the nursing home executives are going to face jail time.

Operators of four New York nursing homes siphoned more than $83 million in Medicare and Medicaid funding to line their own pockets — all while allowing residents to live under horrific conditions, including letting them sit for hours in their own filth, state Attorney General Letitia James alleges in a new lawsuit.

If an individual abused their elder parents the same way they would be thrown in jail. But if a corporation does the same thing, they get to buy their way out of trouble. Corporations are people until they commit a crime.

The scheme left their facilities were chronically understaffed, resulting in the widespread neglect of elderly residents who were forced to remain in their own urine and feces for hours, were allowed to become dehydrated and malnourished and whose wounds were left to fester, the suit alleges.

We should be concerned by the rise of neo-fascism among the right in the U.S. elsewhere:

The Hamilton County chapter of Moms for Liberty, a national organization recently listed as an “extremist group” by a civil rights watchdog, introduced its first newsletter Wednesday, The Parent Brigade. Adolf Hitler was quoted on its front cover.

Just below The Parent Brigade’s masthead was a quote Hitler used at a Nazi rally in 1935: “He alone, who OWNS the youth, GAINS the future.” The pages of the newsletter were posted on the group’s Facebook page.

And this group is growing in influence within the GOP:

Moms for Liberty didn’t exist during the last presidential campaign, but the Florida-based nonprofit that champions “parental rights” in education has rapidly become a major player for 2024, boosted in part by GOP operatives, politicians and donors.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) appears unhappy that fellow MAGA Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is taking the lead on her years-long quest to impeach President Joe Biden.

According to CNN’s Manu Raju, Greene on Wednesday accused Boebert of essentially swiping the articles of impeachment that she had previously drafted – and even went so far as to call her a “copycat.”

Mississippi civil rights lawyer arrested filming traffic stop, attorney says

It’s like we are reliving the Jim Crow of the 1960s. If you are black you are still treated as less than especially in the South:

A Mississippi civil rights lawyer was arrested Saturday after filming a traffic stop conducted by officers from a police department she is suing in federal court, her attorney says.

Jill Collen Jefferson is the president of JULIAN, the civil rights organization that filed a federal lawsuit last year against the Lexington Police Department on behalf of a group of city residents. Michael Carr, Jefferson’s attorney, told The Associated Press she was arrested late Saturday evening after she filmed officers after they pulled someone over.
