Leaked white supremacist chatroom messages show they are obsessed with promoting ‘our guy’ Tucker Carlson

Tucker has a lot to explain. Better yet let’s boycott the sponsors of his show:

According to a report from Media Matters, Fox News personality Tucker Carlson has a large fan club in a chatroom dominated by far-right extremists who make up the Identity Evropa movement and they are doing all they can to promote segments from his show.

The report, compiled with leaked comments show Carlson’s nightly commentaries have become “many watches” for the racist group.

According to the report, “On March 6, the nonprofit media organization Unicorn Riot released chat logs from a Discord server reportedly used by members of Identity Evropa, a group attempting to sanitize white supremacy by rebranding its racist beliefs as pro-white ‘identitarianism.’ The chat server’s name, ‘Nice Respectable People Group,’ reflects Identity Evropa’s focus on ‘optics,’ a strategy of intentionally rebranding away from obvious extremism to avoid the negative press that supposedly keeps their ideas from appealing to the mainstream.”

A college student hit a police officer over the head with his skateboard during the Capitol Insurrection, says Indictment

Don’t think he was Antifa either:

A Florida college student has been charged with striking a Metropolitan Police officer over the head with a skateboard at the Capitol riots, according to a Department of Justice press release.

Grady Douglas Owens, 21, from Winter Park, Florida, was arrested on April 1 after being caught on bodycam video using his skateboard, which bore the phrase “White Fang,” to hit a police officer over the head.

The officer, who has not been named, was left with a concussion and an injury to his finger, according to an affidavit released earlier this month.

Billionaires Became $5 Trillion Richer During the Pandemic

Obscene. If this is capitalism then this evil. But it’s really about government being used by the wealthy to promote their interests to the detriment of the rest of us. The U.S. political system, in particular, is controlled by the 1 percent. And they are using that power and wealth to destroy us all:

Nearly 500 new billionaires joined the ranks of Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk last year as the world’s richest became $5 trillion richer:

2020 was a great year for billionaires.

That’s according to Forbes, which released its annual billionaires list on Tuesday. Forbes found that the world’s wealthiest people, many of whom are recognizable as the top names in the business world, are $5 trillion richer than they were one year ago.

Here’s how the five richest billionaires fared in 2020:

Jeff Bezos, Amazon’s CEO, saw his fortune grow from $113 billion in 2020 to $177 billion in 2021

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, saw his net worth rise from $24.6 billion in 2020 to $151 billion in 2021

Bernard Arnault, the CEO of LVMH, saw his wealth rise from $76 billion in 2020 to $150 billion in 2021

Bill Gates, the cofounder of Microsoft, saw his fortune grow from $98 billion in 2020 to $124 billion in 2021

Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook’s CEO, saw his net worth rise from $54.7 billion in 2020 to $97 billion in 2021

Video shows Maryland police handcuffing, berating 5-year-old boy

Law enforcement has obviously not learned any lessons despite all the protests against police mistreatment of people of color. And the politicians continue do nothing about it:

Newly released body camera footage shows two Maryland police officers handcuffing and berating a 5-year-old boy who had allegedly left school without permission.

The Montgomery County Police Department released the video on Friday. It was recorded in January 2020 and contains disturbing content.

“I watched in horror as what can only be described as a nightmare unfolded for nearly an hour,” Montgomery County Council member Will Jawando said in a tweeted statement. “It made me sick.”

39% of Americans have no money in the stock market and over 50% say it’s ‘rigged,’ survey finds

Not the American dream. Everything is stacked in favor of the 1 percent:

Investing is the key to building long-term wealth and meeting big financial goals such as retirement. But 39% of adults say they have no money invested in the stock market, according to a new survey from Bankrate that polled more than 2,500 people.

Two of the main issues holding them back: a lack of resources and of knowledge. The first holds back 56% of people who don’t invest and the second 32%. “People who aren’t investing predominantly say it’s because they don’t have the money available to invest, or they don’t understand stocks,” says Greg McBride, chief financial analyst for Bankrate.

Suspicions about the fairness of the system don’t help, either. When asked whether they believe the market is “rigged against individual investors,” more than half of all people surveyed agreed.

New video shows officer Sicknick attacked in Capitol riots

Someone needs to be punished for the death of this police officer:

New video released by the New York Times shows what might have happened to U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick before he died. A demonstrator appears to raise a can and spray at the officer before he turns away. NBC News’ Pete Williams explains if a connection can be made between the incident and Sicknick’s death.

Appeals court says States can restrict open Carry of Firearms

This could be a very important decision. The 2nd amendment refers to a “well regulated militia.” That does not mean anyone can have a gun anywhere at any time.” The 2nd amendment was written at a time when we had no military or national police. It is no longer relevant:

A federal appeals court on Wednesday ruled that states may restrict the open carrying of guns in public, a major ruling that is certain to be appealed to a US Supreme Court hostile to limits on the Second Amendment right to bear arms.

The 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals in a 7-4 ruling upheld Hawaii’s limits on openly carrying firearms in public, rejecting a challenge from Hawaii resident George Young, who had sued the state for denying his bid to carry a handgun outside the home.

“There is no right to carry arms openly in public; nor is any such right within the scope of the Second Amendment,” Judge Jay Bybee, a nominee of George W. Bush, wrote in the majority opinion.

Don’t allow DeSantis to silence, jail his opponents — Defeat the anti-protest bills

DeSantis wants to be Trump’s successor as fascist-in-chief:

If you are Gov. Ron DeSantis you make your legislative priority for 2021 the passage of a law that will criminalize political protest. You champion House Bill 1/Senate Bill 484, which will make it child’s play to shut down any protest you don’t like, including those calling for you and your allies in the Florida Legislature to be voted out of office for your failures during the pandemic, among other reasons.

How easy will it be to stifle political protest in Florida if this new law passes? This easy: Under the new law, if a thousand people are marching peacefully to protest the current leadership, all it will take is for a handful of people to decide to throw a brick through a shop window and the entire crowd will be subject to arrest, a felony conviction and a hefty fine if law enforcement deems the peaceful protest “a riot.” That brick thrower could be an infiltrator acting to deliberately derail a perfectly legal demonstration.

Devin Nunes received a mysterious package from a known Russian agent — so why is he on the Intel Committee?

Good question. It is clear that the GOP has some kind of working relationship with Putin and the Russians. They’ve been caught taking money from them in the past. This needs to be looked into much further. Of course, Robert Mueller failed in connecting the dots:

Rep. Devin Nunes of California is the leading Republican on the House Intelligence Committee. And MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow is wondering why the far-right congressman still has that position in light of his connection to Andrii Derkach, a Russian agent and ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Maddow, during her March 18 broadcast, noted that Derkach is one of the Russian agents named in a National Intelligence Council report on Russian interference in the United States’ 2020 presidential election. The MSNBC host pointed out that according to the report, Derkach was “under the purview of Russian President Vladimir Putin” as part of Kremlin efforts to help former President Donald Trump win reelection and defeat now-President Joe Biden.
