Christian youth pastor accused of sexually abusing at least 16 teen girls — but he still holds a leadership position: report

Classic case of person in power using their position to sexual assault women. In this case it’s ‘religious leader.’ It’s happened too many times before. But now women of all kind are speaking. No more suffering in silence:

According to an investigation conducted by the USA Today Network, Christian children’s camp leader Wayne Aarum inappropriately touched at least 16 teenage girls , some on more than one occasion.

Aarum was a youth pastor at a Buffalo-area church named The Chapel during the 1990s and then later as president at Circle C Ranch in rural western New York. His role gave him access to dozens of girls who belonged to churches in the area. Some of the girls were camp staffers.

Leadership at both The Chapel and Circle C Ranch have been confronted with complaints about his conduct at least 20 times since 1997.

‘I thought I was going to lose my life’: Capitol Police officers share their harrowing January 6 stories for the first time

Everyday we hear another shocking story about how horribly the insurrectionists treated law enforcement on January 6th. Twenty years is not enough for those involved:

US Capitol Police Sgt. Aquilino Gonell was beaten with a flagpole. His hand was sliced open. He was hit with so much chemical spray that the liquid soaked through to his skin. During intense hand-to-hand combat with rioters on the west front of the US Capitol on January 6, there were moments where Gonell thought he might die.

“They called us traitors. They beat us. They dragged us,” Gonell told CNN, in his first interview about the violence he experienced and witnessed on January 6. “And I could hear them, ‘We’re going to shoot you. We’re going to kill you. You’re choosing your paycheck over the country. You’re a disgrace. You’re a traitor.'”
Several hundred feet away that same day, US Capitol Police Officer Byron Evans was inside the locked Senate chamber with 100 senators and Vice President Mike Pence, hand on his weapon and mentally preparing for a life-or-death situation to come through the doors.

Houston mom Shot son while Aiming at escaped Puppy

Another example of the many times guns are used for ‘self defense’ that end up harming the wrong person:

A Houston mother accidentally shot her 5-year-old son while trying to fire at a puppy that got loose in her neighborhood, police said.

Cops responded Saturday and found the child struck in the abdomen by a ricocheting bullet, Houston police said Tuesday.

His mother, Angelia Mia Vargas, 24, is facing one count of deadly conduct-discharge of a firearm in the incident that was caught on a doorbell cam.

3-year-old shot and killed at his birthday party in Florida

When do we start demanding that this madness stop. Are we going to wait on the politicians to care? Because they don’t. We have to fight for our children. We have to demand guns be removed from the streets. Or it couldĀ  be your child next time:

A 3-year-old who was celebrating his birthday was shot and killed in Miami-Dade County over the weekend. Now, police are offering a $15,000 reward for information on the shooter.

Just after 8 p.m. on Saturday, a gunman, armed with semiautomatic rifles, drove by a suburban Miami house, police said in a statement. Elijah LaFrance, the birthday boy, was standing in the doorway of the house while his parents and other family members cleaned the front yard after the party.

Police said the gunman opened fire, shooting over 60 times, hitting LaFrance. His aunt found him wounded, and he was rushed to the hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

DC officer Fanone: Difficult hearing elected officials whitewash January 6th Insurrection

This officer almost lost his life to the enemy within–the Republican Party.

A DC Metropolitan Police officer who was brutally assaulted while defending the US Capitol during the January 6 insurrection said Tuesday evening that it’s been difficult to watch some elected officials and others “whitewash” the episode in its aftermath.

Michael Fanone, who was stun-gunned several times and beaten with a flagpole during the attack, told CNN’s Don Lemon on “CNN Tonight” that “some of the terminology that was used, like ‘hugs and kisses,’ and ‘very fine people,’ is like very different from what I experienced and what my co-workers experienced on the 6th.”

Though Fanone didn’t name Donald Trump specifically, the former President falsely claimed in an interview with Fox News last month that the pro-Trump mob that stormed the Capitol behaved properly with law enforcement and there was “zero threat” to the building.

Trump also claimed that some of the rioters “went in, and they are hugging and kissing the police and the guards.”

FBI Snooping on Americans Secretly, Unconstitutionally

We know the FBI has used that same method to spy on protesters on the left. This is all part of the march to fascism and tyranny. We need to speak up now before it’s too late:

The FBI searched troves of communications sucked up by the National Security Agency for information on ‘racially motivated violent extremists’ without a warrant, ignoring previous warnings it was breaking the law.

The FBI’s requests for access to masses of electronic communications harvested by the National Security Agency (NSA) is revealed in a newly declassified report from the United States’ secret surveillance court.

It shows the FBI has continued to perform warrantless searches through the NSA’s most sensitive databases for routine criminal investigations, despite being told by a federal judge in 2018 and 2019 that such a use was an unconstitutional breach of privacy.

Rose McGowan, who was brought up in a cult, said Democratic voters are in a ‘deep cult’ that she said stops them seeing that party leaders aren’t helping them

Rose McGowan in an appearance on Fox News Monday attacked the Democratic Party, which she accused of being a "deep cult" whose supporters are in thrall to leaders who don’t care about them.

McGowan, a movie star who was one of the leading activists of the #MeToo movement, made the point after noting her childhood growing up in the Children of God cult.

McGowan told Fox News host Tammy Bruce that she used to vote for Democrats herself, but stopped.

"I am not here to make people feel bad about their political choices," said McGowan.

"But I am here to say that you might be in a cult too if you don’t know the signs. And I do believe Democrats, most especially, are in a deep cult that they really don’t know about and aren’t really aware of."
