Trump Finally Admits He Didn’t Win The Election

Every so often Trump speaks the truth. But he does so without meaning to:

The former POTUS has long argued that he won the November election, and alleged there was electoral fraud that made Joe Biden the victor.

Trump’s claims even sparked audits in some states to recount the votes, but, as it stands, no evidence of fraud has been found.

Prior to the audits, all observers echoed this sentiment and insisted Trump’s claims were baseless.

Just hours before Trump left the White House at the beginning of the year, he was still arguing he’d won the election. However, more than six months later, he appears to have finally conceded.

Speaking on Fox News yesterday, June 16, Trump said:

We didn’t win. We were supposed to win easily, 64 million votes. We got 75 million votes, and we didn’t win, but let’s see what happens on that.

Trump may have admitted he didn’t win, but arguably his ‘let’s see what happens’ comment suggests he has a glimmer of hope that the election results might still be overturned.

Slap on the Wrist: St. Louis gun-waving couple pleads guilty to misdemeanors

It’s called white privilege justice:

A St. Louis couple who gained notoriety for pointing guns at social justice demonstrators last year pleaded guilty Thursday to misdemeanor charges and agreed to give up the weapons they used during the confrontation.

Patricia McCloskey pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment and was fined $2,000. Her husband, Mark McCloskey, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and was fined $750.

When several hundred demonstrators marched past their home in June of 2020, the couple waved weapons at them. They claimed the protesters were trespassing and that they feared for their safety.

Students Wrongfully Pulled from car, Beaten, Stunned by Atlanta police sue

Someone should go to jail for this but probably won’t:

Two students pulled from their car and hit with stun guns by Atlanta police while they were stuck in traffic caused by protests over George Floyd’s death sued the city Thursday and several of the officers, their attorneys said.

Police body camera footage showed officers shouting at Taniyah Pilgrim and Messiah Young, firing Tasers at them and dragging them from the car last May during a curfew declared by Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. The federal lawsuit also names Bottoms as a defendant. An email to her office was not immediately returned.

The pair — students at historically Black colleges in Atlanta — can be heard screaming and asking what they did wrong throughout the confrontation. Young was punched repeatedly and suffered a deep laceration to his arm that required 13 stitches, according to his attorneys.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calls for executive action on student loans

Biden won’t do it because he takes his orders from big business. And the wealthy don’t want to lose the ability to milk future college attendees:

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has called on Joe Biden to fulfil his campaign promise to address the $1.57bn of outstanding student loan debt in the US.

Despite campaigning on the proposal to forgive $10,000 of student debt per year, up to $50,000 per adult, Mr Biden has not only failed to fulfil that promise, but he has actively walked back his support.

Lawmakers pushed him to broadly forgive $50,000 in student debt to help Americans whose debt payments cannot keep up with the accruing interest, leaving them unable to buy homes, cars and in some cases get married or consider having children.

Putin lavishes praise on Trump ahead of first summit with Biden

Still think Trump isn’t a Russian asset. And if not, how does an American president get high praise from a Russian dictator and not have betrayed his country?

Russian President Vladimir Putin praised former President Donald Trump during an interview with NBC News.

"Well even now, I believe that former U.S. president Mr. Trump is an extraordinary individual, talented individual, otherwise he would not have become U.S. president," Putin told NBC’s Keir Simmons.

"He is a colorful individual. You may like him or not. And, but he didn’t come from the U.S. establishment. He had not been part of big-time politics before, and some like it, some don’t like it but that is a fact," Putin argued.

Steven Mnuchin Is Milking His Government Benefits to the Bitter End

The Trump gang knows how to grift:

Former Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, who is estimated to have a net worth of at least $400 million, is extracting every last drop of federal largesse he’s entitled to before it runs out in July. A federal spending disclosure filed to an official database reveals a $28,903 charge listed as: “LODGING FOR USSS SUPPORT FOR FORMER SECTRES. MNUCHIN JUN2021.” The payment, made to Al-Rov Luxury Hotels Ltd. in Jerusalem and dated June 9, 2021, comes just weeks before Mnuchin’s full-time, taxpayer-funded Secret Service protection is scheduled to end. In an extremely unusual move before leaving office, former President Donald Trump granted an extra six months of protection beyond the end of his term to 13 family members at least three Trump appointees: ex-Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, ex-National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien, and Mnuchin.

Major newspaper calls for Donald Trump to be criminally prosecuted

He should have been arrested by now. What’s the holdup. What’s the excuse.

A major newspaper’s editorial board called for the prosecution of former president Donald Trump.

The editorial board for the Boston Globe made the case this week for holding Trump criminally accountable for his obstruction of justice, efforts to overturn his election loss in Georgia and inciting an insurrection Jan. 6 aimed at stopping the certification of Joe Biden’s electoral win, arguing that prosecution was the only way to ensure future presidents conducted themselves honorably and lawfully.

“There is only one way left to restore deterrence and convey to future presidents that the rule of law applies to them,” the board argued. “The Justice Department must abandon two centuries of tradition by indicting and prosecuting Donald Trump for his conduct in office.”

The editors agreed the decision to prosecute a former president for crimes committed in office was a heavy responsibility, but they argued that it was necessary to preserve the rule of law — and other democracies had successfully charged former leaders.

Senator Manchin is a Democrat in Name only (DINO)

Senator Joe Manchin might be an elected Democrat. But that means nothing. He is effectively a Republican when it comes to voting for anything that most Democrats want to see passed. Manchin is effect a classic Jim Crow Democrat. Why? His state voted Republican in every presidential election since 2000. In both 2016 and 2020 West Virginia gave Trump a massive 68% of the vote. It’s all about political survival for Manchin.

This explains why the West Virginia senator is against supporting legislation that protects the voting rights of African-Americans. After all, only 3% percent of the population in West Virginia are black. It’s just math to him.
